Overview

This gorgeous, low-growing phlox, forms a dense, cushion-like mound of slender, semi-evergreen, foliage, which in late spring and early summer, is smothered in purple-eyed, white (or occasionally blush pink) flowers. It looks great when allowed to meander through an alpine bed or rockery, but it's also ideal for filling gaps at the front of a sunny border. In very small gardens, it can be potted up for the balcony, windowsill or patio.

Give it a trim after the flowers have faded and lift and divide over-large clumps in autumn.

Please note: This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
