The Solar Oxygenator is an ingenious air pump suitable for small to medium ponds up to 2000 litres. Working via solar power this air pump oxygenates pond water in sunny weather when oxygen levels are depleted.

    Tips on Installation and Maintenance

    A lot of water features come pre-assembled for the most part, with just a little hose/pump connecting to do before plugging it in to a solar panel or mains socket. Some of our bigger ones require wiring in a plug (which might involve a Part P Certified electrician), but otherwise all instructions will be included.

    Features

    During hot weather the water temperature rises and its ability to dissolve oxygen reduces. In theory this will be at its worst during the day when the sun is beating down on your pond but there are other mitigating factors.

    This oxygenater has been cleverly designed to operate automatically whenever the sun is shining on the solar panel.
