The Deer Chaser is battery powered and uses a PIR infrared motion sensor that is activated when a deer moves into the garden.

When activated by the motion sensor, a super bright LED light is turned on, and also an FM radio included in the device.

Why the light? Why the radio?
Studies have found that the simultaneous light and human voice (or music) are one of the most effective deer deterrents. You get to choose the FM station! - Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in almost all situations. If you need more advice on how to get the best out of the product, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
