Packaging Your Rose

Henry Street have been dealing with roses for over 100 years and times have certainly changed over that period. Since the rise of the internet and mail order plants, packaging has become a very important consideration. Although roses are not the most delicate of plants, great care and attention is put into the packing of each plant and innovative methods have been employed to make sure your rose arrives at your door in just a good condition as it left ours.

We have developed a specialist box which clips into place the pot at the bottom so it can't come loose in transit, which is a common cause of damage to plants. The cardboard is thick and strong too so it can withstand a bit of bumping around on the journey. We wrap the pot in a bag which prevents loose soil from escaping and helps retain moisture at the base of the plant.

Each plant gets it's own box and we provide you with a care guide that will help ensure you have all the information you need to see your new addition flourish. Your rose comes in a fine quality Henry Street pot and is potted in Melcourt Peat Free Compost™ which we have found to be not just good for the environment, but ideal for our roses development too.

Your rose is carefully hand selected by us and we plant and prune roses in a staggered fashion to ensure that we have roses in perfect condition to send out whatever time of year it is. We've combined over 100 years of experience with new technology and clever innovation to ensure that you get the perfect rose delivered to your door, every time.
