Overview

A clever and stylish solution for creating shade in your garden in the summer without having to purchase additional stands or attachments simply slide it into your existing awning for a practical and sleek way of maintaining a shady or private spot on your patio. Perfect for helping to avoid the glare of the sun as it sets while still enjoying the remaining light.

This ingenious system combines a Velcro fastening and traditional valance to allow you to simply roll it up when you want to let the sun in, keeping your awning looking neat and tidy.

This easy to install valance can either be supplied new with your awning or fitted at a later date. Simply slide the original valance out of place and replace it with the new dropdown. The dropdown valance is split into sections which can be dropped down independently of each other to create the perfect amount of shade. This also makes rolling and unrolling the dropdown quick and easy without having to struggle with bulky material

Features

Three Different Positions

Dropdown Valance Awnings allow you to set the valance in three different positions, meaning that you are not limited to just one drop position. The three different drops are quick and easy to achieve simply by adjusting the velcro supplied on the valance. This also effectively covers the UV glare. 50cm long, 70cm long and 100cm long.

Stows Away When Not In Use

Velcro fastening makes it quick and easy to roll it away and out of sight behind the incorporated scalloped valance. Keep your awning looking neat and stylish all the time without the extra hassle of having to install a detachable valance whenever you need shade.

Installation

This easy to install valance can either be supplied new with your awning or fitted at a later date. Extend the awning so you can reach the front bar and unscrew the end caps. Slide the original valance out of place and remove the plastic rod from the seam. Then run the rod through the seam in the new valance and slide it back into place. Replace the caps and screw them back into place.
