Overview

Striking new variety with glossy jet black-maroon leaves and cream flowers. Striking new evergreen variety of Heuchera with glossy jet black-maroon leaves darkening as the season progresses. Cream flowers appear in June-July providing a stunning contrast to the leaves. Ideal plant for the front of the border or for a beautiful display in terracotta pots.

Care guide

Lift and divide large clumps in early autumn and replant with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the crown of the plant in spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
