Strawberry planter

Grow strawberries from your own garden or patio, no matter how small it is. Simple to maintain so you can have fresh strawberries throughout the Summer.
Our Strawberry Patio Planter is designed specifically for use on terraces, decking and balconies, or even in small gardens. Made from moulded plastic with polycarbonate walls the planter has multiple planting pockets and a net to keep your harvest safe from garden critters. The unit folds up neatly so is can easily be stored when not in use.

Strawberry Growing Kit
The Growing Kit is a great way to start growing your own. Includes the planter itself and the enriched compost, which when added to water will make up to 50 litres of compost.

Enriched Compost

You can plant up your tub at any time of year, however the recommendations tend to agree on early spring or autumn. Generally speaking, although you will get a reasonable crop the first year, the second and third years will be the most prolific.
This planter has the added advantage that when not in use, it packs down very small for easy storage and cleaning.

"I did struggle a little putting the 'barrel' together and it kept coming apart but once the compost was in it seems it might be quite a good space saving way of growing my strawberry plants. I have always had my plants in pots before but they do take up quite a large area in my garden so IF the barrel 'works out' well I might invest in more for next year. "

"To be honest,when I saw the barrel I was fearing the worse,but as we assembled the barrel it went together like the diagram illustrated,and once we had filled it with soil and strawberries it could not have been bettered by the most expensive terrercota model. Congratulations."
