This classic French favourite originated in the orangerie at Versailles where it was planted with lemon and orange standards. Buy a pair and plant with lollipop bays or box balls and place them either side of your front door, or put them on the patio at regular intervals against the walls of the house.

These top quality formal planters are made from fibreglass and resin, with an authentic white finish.

Fibreglass and resin is a wonderfully versatile material which is light-weight, frost-proof, tough, low maintenance and non-corrosive. Ideal for use inside and out, they are supplied without drainage holes as standard; we can pre-drill drainage holes if required.

"The Versaille planter is excellent, however, I phoned the day after it was delivered to advise that one of the decorative balls had a faulty thread and therefore could not be fixed to the planter - I asked for a replacement. That was a week ago and I have not heard anything since."
