Overview

A quick and easy way to keep garden ponds clear. Simply remove the label and submerge this netting bag in your pond and the natural barley straw it contains will help keep the water algae-free. Barley straw is completely safe for fish and can last up to 6 months depending on the amount of algae you have in your pond. The compostable netting will naturally disintegrate in 3 months. For best results, introduce to the pond before algae appears in spring, and replace after 3 months. Fully submerge the bag where there is water movement ie. on the outlet side of a filtration system or near a fountain. Each pack is sufficient to treat up to 2,000 gallons of water, so if you have a larger pond you may need more than one.
