Overview

The Bermuda Pond Filter Kit is ideal for ponds up to 6000 litres (1320 gallons), with a 1500 litre per hour pump and a 9-watt UV. Bermuda Pond Filter Kits make pond filtration easy. This kit includes a mechanical and biological filter with an ultraviolet clarifier, the correct-size pump, and 5 metres of ribbed, non-kink, flexible hose to filter and maintain healthy water in small to medium-sized garden ponds. The filter box can be part-buried for discrete placement. Sponges can be cleaned at the pull of a handle as part of a six-stage easy-clean process.

Care guide

Regularly check the pump and UV clarifier for proper functioning. Replace the UV lamp annually for optimal performance. Clean the filter sponges as needed, typically as part of a six-stage easy clean process. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific cleaning guidelines. Monitor water flow and clarity regularly, adjusting as necessary to maintain a healthy pond environment. In colder climates, consider winterizing the filter system to prevent damage from freezing temperatures. This may involve draining the filter and removing it from the pond.
