Versatile in its display and excellent for cleaning the air

Scindapsus is better known by its common name of Devil's Ivy, so called because it can survive even in low light. Found in tropical forest around the world devil's ivy is a natural climber (as you'd expect) and can be trained up a moss pole for height. It can also be potted into a hanging basket for a magnificent cascade effect. The beautiful glossy heart shaped leaves are yellow green that will look wonderful trailing down a bookcase, shelf or curtain rail. NASA has also named devils ivy as one of the best air-purifying plants so it can be working hard removing pollutants from the air whilst looking beautiful in your living room. Thriving in indirect as well as low light this is a great indoor plant that's ideal for beginners.

The intuitive box design is totally plastic free and optimised to keep your plants safe in transit, without unnecessary harm to the environment. The cardboard packaging is fully recyclable to deliver you a more eco-conscious product.

We believe that anyone, regardless of ability can successfully grow their own plants at home, and do so in an eco-friendly and sustainable way.

Everyone should have the chance to experience the benefits that plants bring to our lives, and we have put a lot of effort into making sure that all of our products are easy to grow, even for beginners.

Sustainability is at the heart of our ethos and we have done everything we can to ensure that all of our products are as sustainable as possible, be it our plastic free, fully recyclable packaging, GM free seeds or ethically sourced compost.

Scindapsus are happy in both indirect or filtered light as well as low light so they can be placed almost anywhere in the home.

Originating from tropical forests, devils ivy will benefit from an occasional misting of its leaves.

Allow the water to run right through the soil and out of the drainage holes of the nursery pot, leaving the water 10 minutes or so to sink through before returning to the display pot. This can be done once a week in summer but should be reduced in winter.
