Bearing flowers in the autumn months, and fruits in spring, Eleagnus x ebbingei forms broad, ovate leaves, that sport muted-green colouring, complemented by delicate speckles of silver.
The underside of each leaf is entirely silver, which creates a beautiful, multi-dimensional display. As such, this plant is perfect for gracing an informal or cottage garden with some cooler tones that will be present for the entirety of the year.
