This fantastic, dense, semi-evergreen Privet is a highly versatile hedge which does well in almost all environments including urban gardens as it carries a high resistance to pollution. Caring and Maintenance

After planting, thoroughly water your privet to help establish roots. Privet hedges only need to be trimmed once a year, in late spring or early summer, when the hedge is producing new shoots. Privet should not be pruned or trimmed during particularly hot or dry periods.

Please Note: No part of this plant is edible and it should not be planted in reach of grazing animals such as horses and cattle.

"PRIVET STICKS NOT PLANTS THE PRICE WAS FAR TOO HIGH FOR THE QUALITY NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM THESE CLOWNS AGAIN THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS!!!!!!!!!"

Reviewed Monday, 23 March 2015

Primrose says: "Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the height of the plant which arrived. As with all plants, stock will vary in appearance according to the time of year. All our plants come from expert nurseries who prune them according to standard practice before being shipping out. This pruning should encourage new growth, and your hedging should soon begin to flourish naturally."
