Heavenly Bamboo Nandina 'Twilight'- 10L Pot

Nandina 'Twilight' is a compact, rounded, evergreen shrub with colourful, bamboo-like leaves. In the summer it produces small, white, delicate flowers that are sometimes followed by bright red berries. However, it is the brightly coloured foliage that makes this shrub so special. Its variegated foliage is a mass of colour with hues of green, bronze, cream and pink which become more intense in winter when the temperature drops ensuring that this shrub is a showstopper all year long.

With its compact habit this hardy shrub is excellent for growing in containers or planted as part of a border. It is happiest when placed in a sheltered but sunny position in moist, well-drained soil. With such a long season of interest Nandina 'Twilight' would make a fantastic addition to any garden.

Oriental Charm

The bamboo like leaves of the Nandina 'Twilight' give it a wonderful oriental charm. With its long season of interest and gorgeous hues of green, pink, bronze and cream this shrub can make a wonderful statement piece. This particular plant would look brilliant as part of a garden that incorporates other influences from east Asia. It would look fantastic grown alongside other plants from that part of the world including Japanese Flowering Cherry Trees and Acer Trees.

Size, Shape and Uses

As 'Twilight' is a small and compact shrub it is excellent for growing in pots. It has an upright and slightly bushy habit with several unbranched stems emerging from the base which add to its bamboo-like appearance. Planting and Care

Place in either a sunny or shaded area in a sheltered spot away from cold, drying winds. This shrub will thrive in any soil as long as it is moist but has good drainage. Water young plants regularly until established. Remove weak, dead, damaged or spindly stems in spring. Cut out any flowering shoots promptly to discourage more from forming.
