30cm Photinia 'Little Red Robin' Ball | 6L Pot
Photinia “Little Red Robin” is a stunning alternative to traditional hedging plants. The beautiful, glossy, bright red leaves are displayed in the spring and summer before maturing to a deep green in autumn. In spring, the red leaves are highlighted with clusters of white flowers which are sometimes followed by dark fruit.
While Photinia is not as dense as other formal hedging, it is the magnificent spring foliage which makes this hedge a show-stopping addition for your garden.

They can grow up to 4m (12ft) and you will get a looser, more informal hedge than traditional privet, as the leaves are much larger. The growth rate can be up to 30cm (1ft) a year, so remove the tips of young shoots to encourage the bright red leafy re-growth up to three times a year. Avoid trimming after mid-August, as new growth will be vulnerable to autumn frosts.
