30cm Terracotta Rhubarb Forcer

Rhubarb forcers work by preventing light reaching the crowns of your rhubarb plants, encouraging them to make early growth. This means that you can enjoy a bumper crop of rhubarb even a month or so earlier than if you were to grow them exposed to the elements. Forced rhubarb also tends to be more tender, less bitter and a lighter colour, perfect for puddings and crumbles.
This hand-thrown terracotta rhubarb forcer is ideal for growing your own fruit.
