Allow the water to run right through the soil and out of the drainage holes of the nursery pot, leaving the water 10 minutes or so to sink through before returning to the display pot. Make sure the plant never sits in stagnant water. These plants love humidity so mist the leaves with a spray bottle regularly. brown tips on the leaves is an indicator of needing more humidity.
