Creeping Jenny Lysimachia Nummularia - 3x 9cm Pots

Lysimachia Nummularia is a very vigorous perennial which is perfect for forming a creeping cover around pond margins and concealing the edges of pond liners. It has lovely cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers which bloom in abundance throughout the summer. Its shiny golden green foliage produces small, rounded leaves with wavy edges which grow out of their thin, trailing stems. Their orbicular leaves are smooth and slightly shiny. Lysimachia Nummularia is an evergreen plant, which means that the foliage of the plant persists and remains green throughout the year.

RHS Award of Garden Merit

The Royal Horticultural Society has given Lysimachia Nummularia the prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM). The Award of Garden Merit, or AGM, is an award made to garden plants by the British Royal Horticultural Society after a period of assessment by the appropriate committees of the Society. Awards are made annually after plant trials (which may last for one or more years, depending on the type of plant being trialled) at RHS Garden, Wisley and other RHS gardens, or after observation of plants in specialist collections. This is intended to judge the plants' performance for conditions in the UK.

Advice on hot and droopy plants

If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.

Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.
