3x Eared Lady Fern Athyrium otophorum okanum - 9cm Pots

Athyrium otophorum okanum is a deciduous fern with arching yellow-green fronds that have reddish purple midribs and two rounded pinnae. It is ideal for beds and borders, or as a marginal plant for ponds and bogs.

Ferns have impressed with their simplicity and elegance for a long time. They bring life to dark corners of the garden, where most other plants would fail. In open areas, ferns look best in rock gardens and under trees, perfectly complementing its undergrowth. They can also be planted at the edges of water channels, where delicate leaves will be reflected by flowing water, adding a touch of magic and charm to the area. The foliage of ferns stay evergreen or turn into attractive red or russet hues through the winter months. Ferns are good companion plants of hostas, lilies of the valley, grasses, primroses and anemones.
