40-50cm Alocasia x Amazonica 'Polly' | African Mask Plant | 17cm Pot
Strikingly variegated, arrow-like leaves; this plant makes the perfect botanical accessory...
Also called 'Elephant Ears' or the 'African Mask Plant', this charming Alocasia will instantly become a talking point with its arrow-like leaves and striking white veins. Each leaf sports a sumptuous emerald shade, but on their underside they are of a shade comparable to a night's sky. We therefore feel this is the perfect plant for someone who wants to add a mysterious edge to their home. Nevertheless, as unique as this Alocasia appears, it is a very low maintenance plant, making it perfect for the beginner grower! All you have to do is keep their soil moist, and ideally place them in a location with partial shade.

Show off your plant in style
Please note, all of our house plants arrive in a nursery pot as standard. You can find a more permanent home for your plant in our wide range of indoor plant pots.
Please note: where your plant is supplied with a pot, your plant's 'Height on Arrival' includes the pot
Your plant will be happy in bright light that is preferably indirect, otherwise the leaves could be scorched. A little way back from a window in a bright room is optimum. The foliage of your plant may become a little dusty, so just wipe them down with a damp cloth occasionally, but try not to come into direct contact with the plant.
Advice on hot and droopy plants
If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.
Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.
