This attractive half log raised bed provides 21cm of planting depth. It is suitable for various vegetables or herbs and includes pre-fixed 41cm spikes for sinking into the ground.

The soil in the raised bed will warm up earlier in the year, so that you can start planting earlier in the season. The beds lend themselves very well to frames and netting, further advantaging the early and safe start of plant growth.
Raised beds require far less digging, and the soil won't get compacted. It can solve the problem of poor draining or waterlogged soil. Moisture retaining and free draining soil provide the ideal conditions for plants and vegetables to thrive.
