Planting Essentials

Our bulbs are harvested at the perfect time to ensure they are of the best quality and size. With careful handling and special packaging, your bulbs will safely arrive in perfect condition.

How to Plant your Bulbs: Firstly cultivate your soil to a depth between 15 and 20cm. If planting in containers, the recommend planting depth can be reduced if required. It is best to plant in soils that are well-drained, however, if you have heavier soil add some grit or well-rotted humus matter. For sandy soils, supplement with organic matter to boost fertility. Try to protect early growth from slugs and snails, and regularly deadhead spent flowers.
