The 4ft x 4ft Classic Cold Frame is a strong and stable design built to protect your plants. The aluminium framework has a 25 year guarantee, and it is glazed with 3mm toughened safety glass for durability. Cold frames have a wide variety of uses, including bringing on early vegetables, hardening off growing plants, and providing protection for plants such as alpines. These frames have a number of unique benefits, including being able to protect plants from tough weather conditions, and being able to be moved around. This model has sliding panels on the sides and top that allow easy access, superb ventilation, and the versatility to allow taller crops to grow through the roof. It is designed to stand directly on the soil or a raised base. This frame can be fitted with a our 4f6 x 4ft Wooden Raised Base.
