50-90cm Clematis Armandii 'Apple Blossom' - 3L Pot
The Apple Blossom is a beautiful and unusual evergreen Clematis. It produces gorgeous, almond scented flowers with delicate pale pink petals and mid-green leaves. Preferring to be planted in a sheltered south or west facing site, this versatile plant can be grown on walls, frames, around a house entrance or along a well worn path.
As this plant can reach up to 5 metres in height it needs to placed in an area with ample room to grow and would be a very attractive addition to a garden. Please be aware that this particular plant is toxic to dogs if eaten.

- Position: Clematis prefer full sun but will suffice in partial shade. Evergreen varieties need shelter and herbaceous varieties need sunny spots.
- Soil: Soil types can be an unwelcome confusion as many plants will adapt to their conditions. Nonetheless, less than ideal conditions will certainly limit your plant’s growth. Waterlogged soils will starve it of oxygen, which plays a key role in photosynthesis; causing its roots to rot and creating an optimal environment for disease.
- Pots: Choose a pot that is around 50cm deep and be sure to apply mulch. When the weather warms up, make sure that you water your clematis regularly.
Advice on hot and droopy plants
If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.
Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.
