50cm 'Superba' Snake Plant | Sansevieria Superba | 14cm Pot | By Plant Theory

Instantly recognisable, the Sansevieria is one of the most popular indoor plants. They are easy to care for and a top choice for beginners. Blessed with many nicknames like snake plant, St George's sword, mother-in-laws tongue or bow string hemp, there are many variations in shape and colour to capture your interest. The Superba variety is a variegated style with a distinctive yellow edge and dark ripples running across the sword shaped leaves. Happy growing in a variety of light conditions, they only require a little watering and are proven by NASA as one of the best air-purifying plants around. As an introduction to indoor plants, the sansevieria is your best buy.

Please note, all of our house plants arrive in a nursery pot as standard. You can find a more permanent home for your plant in our wide range of indoor plant pots.

How your order will arrive
Your plant will be happy in a well-lit location. With most houseplants, it is best to avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch their leaves. We believe that a little way back from a window in a bright room is optimum.

The foliage of your plant may become a little dusty, so just wipe them down with a damp cloth occasionally (try not to come into direct contact with the plant).
