Lift your autumn garden with a profusion of colourful blooms

Noted for their large rosettes of colourful petals, Chysanthemums are a must-have for sustaining your garden's interest well into autumn. For maximum impact, plant each variety in rows to establish a vista of mesmermising colour, or if you prefer, place around your garden to lighten up any emptier spots. Aside from being the perfect autumnal plant, these Chysanthemums are highly appealing to pollinators, and will make beautiful cut flowers.

Although full sun encourages prolific flowering, if you can, move your plants to a shadier area once flower buds appear.

Please note, the 'how your plant will arrive' image details exactly what you will receive, both colour and pot wise.

How your order will arrive
Please see our below guidance on your perennial or alpine's care:

  • Watering: During your perennial or alpine's first growing season, you should provide them with frequent waterings. Try to also avoid wetting the foliage to reduce the risk of disease.
  • Deadheading: To promote a long flowering period, you should deadhead any flowers that appear spent. Simply rescind each flower at their base, taking care to not cut other parts of the plant.
  • Dividing: To really flourish, your perennials can be divided every three to four years. They can be divided when they begin to show less flowers, or appear less healthy in the middle. Make sure to only do so when they aren't currently flowering.
