Nice quality with a tight weave. Just whats needed for privacy with a willow fence panel
Papillon Willow Bunch Weave Hurdles 6ft (1.8m) Fencing Panel
Woven from coppiced willow to a traditional pattern, this beautiful, robust and eco-friendly 6ft willow bunch weave fence panel will make a perfect practical addition to your garden. Bring a part of the countryside to your very own garden with this beautifully woven willow fence panel, which will not only be ideal for the traditional English country garden but also provide gardeners in the 21st century with the opportunity to create a natural look for modern urban spaces.
Willow fencing is coppiced, meaning the branches are cut only from new growth. The purpose is two-fold: to ensure that the branches or 'wands' are flexible and of reasonably uniform thickness, and to allow more growth for next year.
These willow horizontals have been strongly woven and built and depending on the level of exposure to wind and how well they are secured in place, they can be expected to provide a good few years of service and will age gracefully while still maintaining sturdiness.
They can be cut easily to reduce the height by cutting the verticals and removing unrequired horizontals. The width can be reduced by carefully cutting to ensure that the horizontals don't become unwoven. Alternatively, overlap adjacent hurdles to reduce width.

You might also want to consider Willow Screening. Screening is cheaper, and allows you to cover existing walls or fences with natural willow.
All panels are 6ft wide
Please Note: The height refers to the horizontal woven section - the vertical stakes sticking out at the top and bottom add up to an extra 6 inches.

"Nice fence panel. I'm using it as trelis against a block wall. Not sure how long it would last as an actual fence panel as it seems quite loosely woven..But looks good."

"Only after, say, three years of use will I know how good it is. It looks a bit as if it may start disintegrating in places."

"While accepting that the hurdles are a "natural" craft product and one should not expect factory production precision, the finishing at the top and bottom of the hurdles could be better."
