Sustainability is at the heart of our ethos and we have done everything we can to ensure that all of our products are as sustainable as possible, be it our plastic free, fully recyclable packaging, GM free seeds or ethically sourced compost.

Snake plants can tolerate most levels of light so experiment with positions around the house; it will be happiest in bright light. These plants are used to dry conditions, originating from places like Africa and South Asia. The main thing to avoid is having your plant standing in water as this will drown the roots.

A good water once every two weeks is usually enough to keep it happy. You want the soil to be moist but not soaked so allow any excess water to run out through the drainage holes of the nursery pot, leaving it 10 minutes or so to drain before returning to the display pot.

Make sure that the top 2 inches of soil dry out between waterings and the frequency of your watering can be further even reduced in the winter, allowing the soil to completely dry out between waterings.
