Keep Water Away With A Single Top Bar

Having just one central bar atop this polytunnel protects it from collapse due to water build-up. In other polytunnels, having two bars running the length means that rainwater can pool between them, putting a lot of weight on the structure and leading to potential collapse.

Polytunnels with vertical walls are much more prone to wind damage. With sloped sides, the shape of this polytunnel is designed to deflect the wind upwards, diverting some of the strength of the wind away from the side.

Plant Aeration Through A Mesh Ventilation System

Mesh windows in every bay ensure that your polytunnel is well ventilated to promote healthy plant growth. Each window has its own cover which can be unrolled and attached securely for full control over the ventilation system. The fine mesh design also lets in additional light, helping your plants to grow to their full potential, while preventing insects from entering.

Resist Rust With Galvanised Steel

With a sturdy galvanised steel frame, this polytunnel combines the strength of the steel frame with rust and corrosion resistance for extra longevity. Galvanised steel has a layer of zinc added to the steel, creating a durable and robust frame (which is also simple to put together).

Please note: This polytunnel comes unassembled and will need to be put together on site.

Extra Strength With Reinforced Polyethylene Sheeting

The sheeting used to cover the frame of this polytunnel is made of high quality reinforced polyethylene, ensuring that the right amount of sunlight is blocked to avoid scorched plants in hot weather, but still trapping heat in during colder weather, extending the growing season. The reinforcement also gives the structure extra strength.

Do I need an Anchor Kit?

An invaluable addition to any polytunnel, this stake kit is designed to help anchor your tunnel safely and securely to the ground. Simply build the frame for your polytunnel then drive one of the pointed stakes into the ground on the inside of each corner. Feed the cable ties through the pre-drilled holes and around the frame to secure the whole structure.

Do I need Staging?

Staging is a highly convenient addition to your Polytunnels - it will help to keep everything neat and organised and save precious space.

Benefits of Staging

  • Saves precious space, helping you to make the most of your polytunnel
  • Helps to keep your plants neat and organised at all times
  • Versatile and portable: can be easily repositioned within the polytunnel
  • Lacewing staging features slatted shelves, allowing air to circulate around plants and excess water to drain away
  • Optional Extras Selected items will be included with your purchase

Do I need a Roll Out Path?

Adding a roll out garden path can make travelling to and from your polytunnel easy without getting stuck in mud.

    Benefits of Roll Out Path

  • Easy to fold away, store and transport when not in use
  • Increased safety for both foot passage and wheelbarrows over muddy and uneven terrain
  • Prevents your wheelbarrow getting stuck in the mud

  • Do I need Raised Garden Beds?

Raised beds are ideal for Polytunnels and is a wonderful way to grow your own delicious fruit, vegetable and herbs. Using raised beds mean you start growing your vegetation closer together and in the best possible medium. It features easy access and requires less bending and reaching, giving you a clever garden solution. Lacewing raised beds have a smooth a finish and the attactive woodwork will look great anywhere.

If the area around the bed has a weed membrane laid down with bark or gravel on top, it will form a barrier to stop slugs and snails from getting into the bed, and since the soil will have no eggs in it, you will be starting a strong pest controlled environment straight away. Any slug pellets needed can be spread around the outside of the bed, and kept away from any growing plants. Grow beds are ideal for new plant life thanks to their faster warming soil and box design, perfect for nets and other aids.

"This is a reliable product. My second purchase. The first having tried to escape over a neighbours fence during freak winds. Good value , good YouTube clip to help erect frame. My experience shows two pairs of hands are best, my eleven year old budding engineer son helped me. I would recommend the stakes , albeit I have made my own. Good Product, good value."
