About your Bulbs

A family run business, our trusted bulb grower has specialised in growing and packaging bulbs for many decades. With over 40 members of staff caring each day for the plants these bulbs come from, you can feel confident that your garden will soon be filled with beautiful, flourishing blooms! Once gathered, each bulb is carefully checked and stored to prevent any early sprouting before they're sent to you.

Sustainability and biodiversity remains at the core of what they do. Because of this, chemicals are reduced to a minimum, bulbs are sent in paper bags, and packaging and transportation operations are streamlined to leave a much smaller environmental footprint. So, by planting these bulbs, you won't only be help your garden, but the world around you too.

How your order will arrive
Plant these bulbs 10cm/4" deep, and distance 25cm/10" apart. If too deep, the bulb may rot and the shoots emerge late. If too shallow, the bulb may emerge unevenly and have spindly growth.

Once shoots emerge, water thoroughly and regularly to encourage their growth. Fertiliser isn't essential, but it will help blooms to look their best. Simply apply a slow release fertiliser upon planting, or alternatively apply liquid fertiliser once the growing season begins.

Advice on hot and droopy plants

If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.

Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.

Growing Advice

It is best to make sure that you plant at the recommended distance and depth.
