Perennials with distinctive height and delicate colours

Commonly known as Hollyhock, this biennial is perfect for borders, walls and trellises. The Salmon Pink variety produces fluffy, crepe-textured flowers in shades of salmon pink. Its stunning, large flower heads and dark green foliage make for excellent cuttings. Although it is a magnet for pollinators and hummingbirds, it is also resilient to inquisitive wildlife.

Fresh from the Nursery, our perennials and alpines are despatched directly from expert growers, based within Southern England. There is no sitting around in garden centers or fulfillment centres, so you rest assured that your plant will arrive fresh, healthy and in perfect condition.

How Your Order Will Arrive

About your plant - Our reliable nurseries have a real passion for plants. Their extensive range and reputation are key to the foundations of the business. Our expert nursery has spent decades perfecting the art of watering, feeding, and pruning perennials, and will do so until hours before they are packed.

Packaging- Please note that perennials die back to soil level in winter. If ordered during the colder months they might not experience the best growth. However, provided they are cared for accordingly they will grow back in the spring. Your perennials will be expertly packaged into a specially designed, extra thick cardboard box, which will hold it securely in place. Your plant will then be delivered via a delicate courier network to prevent any chance of damage in transit.

Please note: where your plant is supplied with a pot, your plant's 'Height on Arrival' includes the pot

Hollyhocks are hardy, short-lived perennials requiring little maintenance. Grow them in well-drained, moderately fertile soil with access to plenty of sunlight. Ensure to cut back after flowering. Staking is recommended to prevent them from flopping. Hollyhocks may be prone to rust in humid, warm regions.

Please note: Herbaceous perennials can die back in winter, so don't be alarmed if this happens and instead look forward to spring!

Advice on hot and droopy plants

If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.

Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.
