RHS Award of Garden Merit

The Award of Garden Merit or AGM is an award made to garden plants by the British Royal Horticultural Society after a period of assessment by the appropriate committees of the Society. Awards are made annually after plant trials (which may last for one or more years, depending on the type of plant being trialled) at RHS Garden, Wisley and other RHS gardens, or after observation of plants in specialist collections. This is intended to judge the plants' performance for conditions in the UK.

These roses are in a dormant state ready for immediate planting. The roots have been dipped in a water retaining gel and are enclosed in a plastic bag to keep them moist. The shoots have been cut back to prevent your rose plant rocking in the wind after planting. A further pruning will be required in early spring. Each plant comes with full planting and care instructions.

"This was a gift to a professional gardener who was very pleased with the root and said it looked very healthy"

"Roses appear to be in good condition but a couple of them were significantly smaller/skinnier than the rest. Hopefully they will survive and catch up... we'll see!"
