Allegheny Monkey Flower Mimulus ringens - 3L Pot
Mimulus ringens is an erect, hairless, deciduous perennial. It blooms in summer, with tubular, two-lipped flowers. These are usually violet/violet-white in colour, but on rare occasions are pink. These striking flowers, and the lance shaped, toothed leaves on the branching stems will create a beautiful focal point in your flowerbeds or at your pondside.

Caring and Maintenance:
This plant is low maintenance - however it does require regular watering, especially during dry periods. It can be propagated through division, seeding, or softwood cuttings.
This plant will thrive in almost all soil types, in either full sun or partial shade. It can grow in up to 15cm of water, and generally prefers moist to boggy conditions. In winter and spring, it is advisable to sow seeds in a cold frame.
This plant is suitable for zones 1 & 2 of a pond.
