Amaryllis 'Apple Blossom' in Decorative Gold Pot
An Amaryllis variety with petals flushed in pink, arriving in a decorative gold pot!
With their huge, starry blooms, and forest green stems, Amaryllis make popular festive decorations, looking beautiful wherever they are placed. 'Apple Blossom' shares the delicate pink flush seen in the blossom of an apple tree, so is perfect for those who adore pastel shades! Lovingly grown by a nursery with over 100 years of experience, this plant will typically develop two stems, with multiple flowers on each one. This Amaryllis will arrive in its decorative pot which sports a glistening shade of gold. Whether as a gift for a loved one or as a treat to yourself, it will quickly become a charming focal point in your home.

Packaging
Your Amaryllis will arrive in a decorative gold pot in a plastic material. They will be delivered in a cardboard box (and enclosed in a sleeve) that will keep them safe and secure on their way to your home.
Caring for your Amaryllis
Before being delivered, the nursery will store your Amaryllis plant in dark, cold conditions. When they arrive at your home, the increased warmth will wake them from their dormancy.
It will typically take between 6 - 8 weeks until they flower, with the flowering time ranging from two to four weeks. With every home unique, every Amaryllis will be too. In warmer rooms, they will grow more quickly, and in cooler rooms, they will be more compact. Too much heat and direct sunlight (for example, a windowsill above a radiator) can make your plant grow too rapidly and become leggy. We recommend keeping them in a living room not too near a window.
When it comes to watering, once a week is best. If you water your Amaryllis too much, again, it may end up looking too leggy.
Advice on hot and droopy plants
If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.
Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.
