A generally easy to grow perennial, it is happy in sunny or partially shaded areas of your garden, and in most moist soils, the best being well-drained soil. Once established it wont need watering unless you cut back some of its flowers to stimulate new growth, otherwise it does not have any special pruning requirements, just prune to clear any decaying or dead foliage. Happy through winter as well just clear any yellowing flowers that might appear. Watch out for funguses and sawflys as it can be affected by them.
