A yellow flowered shrub adding sunshine to your garden in the winter months!
A pinnate evergreen, with neatly paired green leaves and a wonderful mess of yellow flowers. The flowers appear in late winter to spring perfect for adding some colour during colder months when many other plants are dormant. If well maintained it can have a second flush of flowers in the summer. It is a small shrub. A scented shrub that is interestingly a member of the pea family! It is a prior winner of the Award of Garden Merit.

About your plant - Using environmentally friendly techniques and peat free compost, this Nursery based in South East England offers a great range of products including RHS award winning plants and an excellent service. They offer rare and unusual varieties as well as old favourites for your garden. Packaging- These plants will arrive in plastic pots in a cardboard box.
Native to hotter climates such as North Africa and Southern Europe, this plant is only a fairly hardy shrub and will need shelter in the colder months. To assist this, plant in a sheltered location such as against a wall or fence in a south-facing location or plant in a pot where it can be moved come winter to a more sheltered area. This shrub prefers full sun and moist, well draining soil. A generous application of garden compost or manure is appreciated by this plant. It’s generally disease and pest free but does require pruning after flowering of diseased, crossing or misplaced branches.
