Battery Powered Mole Repeller

These battery-operated molechasers are simple to use, humane for the moles and very effective. Just push the waterproof spike into the ground and switch on.

How does it work? Moles are more or less blind, but they compensate by being highly sensitive to vibrations in the ground - which might be a predator borrowing down to attack them. The molechaser creates a deep, powerful noise (inaudible to humans) that emulates potential predators, causing moles to vacate the area. When the device is working, you'll hear a bleeping sound every 30 seconds or so - this is not the noise the moles hear, it's so you can be sure the device is working.

What size area does it cover? The unit is effective up to about 15m (49ft) from the mole repeller, depending on soil type, which is roughly an area of 706.5m² (2318ft²).

"Only Bleeped for a few days and when it did bleep a mole hill appeared about 12 inches from it. So it was a complete waste of money"

Primrose says: "Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with this Mole Repeller. This repeller should not suddenly stop working, you should be able to hear a beeping sound every 30 seconds or so if it is working correctly. If you require further advice or wish to discuss a replacement/refund please do contact customer services."

"Installed item in garden. Noise was irritating for me. Has not appeared to have had any effect on moles yet. I don't think I will be able to tolerate the beep during the warmer months whilst windows & doors are open. I will try again in the winter. Jury's still out on effectiveness"

"Although the item arrived early, not sure how long it takes to get rid of the mole, as he is still messing up the garden and have been using the repeller everyday"

"Don't follow the instructions to push it further into the ground (wooden block and mallet) as the plastic is too weak. With some tin foil and gaffa tape I managed to fix and the moles are staying away so far although it did take a week or so for the moles to get the message. Also the beeping is very loud, I can hear it from my house. I would not want to be using this in the summer when the windows are open or when we are outside."
