Having been grown into a hardy tree, your Blue Spruce will not require much maintenance. All we advise is that you: -  Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny but sheltered spot. Keep your spruce well watered while the roots are establishing, when it is mature it should get the moisture it needs from rainfall. You can trim them back after flowering to maintain the shape.
