Calathea Ornata | Pin Stripe Plant
A tropical variety with beautiful colour and movement
Calatheas are among the most beautiful tropical plants you can add to an indoor collection with a wide variety of colours and patterns available. As tropical plants, they can be a little fussy over their care but getting a few things right from the start will set you up for success. This Calathea Ornata is a stunning variety with large paddle-shaped leaves with white/pink brushstrokes running down the green leaves. The undersides of the leaves provide further interest with a deep contrasting shade of red. The plant will grow best in warm, humid and well-lit conditions with the temperature being a key element. Position your Calathea in a room with lots of bright but indirect light that won't experience too many extreme temperature changes.
