A beautiful Camellia with sumptuous red blooms and evergreen foliage
An evergreen shrub, this Camellia Japonica (Black Lace) will bear sumptuous red blooms during late Winter to early Spring. This Camellia is hence perfect for enriching your garden with romantic colour when other plants have presently died down. This variety additionally boasts shiny green foliage, which will grace your garden all year round. Preferring loose, moist, and slightly acidic soil, ensure that you use plenty of Rhododendron soil when planting your Camellia. We also advise you to position in an area that will not receive direct sunlight between midday and 3pm.
Although this Camellia benefits from a hardy nature, if there is severe frost, protection via a horticultural fleece is recommended. Prune immediately after flowering, if deemed necessary.
