How Your Order Will Arrive About your plant - Our reliable nurseries have a real passion for plants. Their extensive range and reputation are key to the foundations of the business. Our expert nursery has spent decades perfecting the art of watering, feeding, and pruning perennials, and will do so until hours before they are packed. Packaging- Please note that perennials die back to soil level in winter. If ordered during the colder months they might not experience the best growth. However, provided they are cared for accordingly they will grow back in the spring. Your perennials will be expertly packaged into a specially designed, extra thick cardboard box, which will hold it securely in place. Your plant will then be delivered via a delicate courier network to prevent any chance of damage in transit.
Please note: Herbaceous perennials can die back in winter, so don't be alarmed if this happens and instead look forward to spring! Please see our below guidance on your perennial or alpine's care: Watering: During your perennial or alpine's first growing season, you should provide them with frequent waterings. Try to also avoid wetting the foliage to reduce the risk of disease. Deadheading: To promote a long flowering period, you should deadhead any flowers that appear spent. Simply rescind each flower at their base, taking care to not cut other parts of the plant. Dividing: To really flourish, your perennials can be divided every three to four years. They can be divided when they begin to show less flowers, or appear less healthy in the middle. Make sure to only do so when they aren't currently flowering.
