This classic fountain is made using a white sand concrete with grains of marble and a steel reinforced base and is suitable for use on its own or in a pond.
There are two main versions available as: Standard version and a Pond Version. We also offer a 'Tall' version. With the Standard Version water is pumped from the bottom bowl to the top of the feature. The Pond Version is suitable for installation in a pond or pebble pool and is supplied with a larger pump and regulator plus valve fittings, allowing water to be pumped from the base of the fountain instead of from the bottom bowl. If you need a pebble pool to go beneath the Pond Version we recommend the FiniaTM 1800
I'm confused! Could you explain all these options?
It really depends if you want the water to fall all the way to the ground or not.
The simplest option is for the water to be pumped back to the top from the lowest bowl (ie the bowl of the fountain about 2 feet off the ground). The pump sits in that lower bowl (hidden from view in the centre column). In this case, the water never falls to the ground. It's the cheapest option and easiest to construct. You don't need to do any ground works, other than provide a secure base for the fountain to stand on. The electric cable (10m, supplied) is threaded down through a hole in the central column of the fountain so you can exit it through the ground invisibly.
If you want the water to fall all the way to the ground, you have two options.
1) Stand the fountain in a pond.
The pond becomes the reservoir and the pump sits in the pond, pumping water back to the top of the fountain through a hole in the central column. The lower bowl of the fountain fills with water until full then water tips down into the pond.
2) Use the optional surround to create a waterproof reservoir or mini-pond at the base of the fountain.
(See the lower of the two smaller photos above.) With this option, the water is visible in the bowl created by the optional surround at ground level. Instead of digging a hole for the reservoir, you need to construct a concrete base, then use concrete to join together the components of the optional surround. The concreting you do will make the base pool waterproof, so clearly this is a more advanced DIY option than the other options.

Thanks to Mrs C for this photo of the fountain in her garden.
"Good as it appears in pictures. Few areas at the bottom tier were chipped but due to delivery delays already and I had arranged for a fitter for that particular day I did not bother with returns or replacement"

"The assembly instructions really do need clarifying with regards to fitting the water pipe through the large bung (hole way too small) and connecting the pump to the water supply pipe( far easier if instructed to take off the cover, and then re-assemble."

"I did ask to be given 24 hours notice of delivery and was this not given and this caused me problems.
Although the product had been well secured to the pallet because of the way it was loaded onto the delivery vehicle some small damage was caused to the large dish I did not consider that this was sufficient to asked for this item to be replaced some people might have done"

"Good quality product. Very heavy so need plenty of help to install but should never move and last for years. Easy access to pump is a real bonus."

"A well made good looking water feature with pump included. Easy to put together although heavy to lift parts into place so get several people to help! I used plenty of silicone sealant to seal bungs into place and so far no leaks. Pump is quiet even though I set it to maximum. This only raises water 20mm above top of water feature which looks good. The removable stone hatch on lower tier that hides pump is very well thought out and allows for adjustment to pump if needed while the pump is in place and running."

"Fountain arrived promptly and very well packed for protection.
I did request delivery notification but didn't receive any notice, fortunately I was present.
There don't appear to be any assembly instructions although it appears fairly obvious."
