Also known as "Clematis clarkeana 'Winter Beauty'" or "Old Man's Beard" this evergreen Clematis is, in our opinion, simply the the best for year long interest and boasts a floral display able to brighten the gloomiest of winter days. The lush, abundant foliage stays vibrant & summer fresh all winter long.
This variety is highly sought after for it's white bell shaped flowers that are delicately shaped and profuse adding a premature touch of spring to the garden between the months of December & February.
Happy in a sheltered spot with full sun or partial shade this versatile plant can be grown in a container, a cold greenhouse or conservatory and can reach up the 3.5 metres in height.
