A vibrant Foxglove exhibiting trumpet-shaped, fuchsia flowers

With slender, upright stalks that support spikes of vibrant pink blooms, the presence of this eye-catching Digitalis within your garden will create a summerly feel. Each flower is of a trumpet-shape, forming a striking silhouette that is adorned by the warm green shade of their foliage. With a preference for partial shade, this Digitalis offers an eye-catching display when planted in drifts along a more shaded border.

Not only beautiful, this Digitalis proudly carries the Royal Horticultural Society's 'Perfect for Pollinators' logo, assuring that your garden will attract plenty of life! Please note, Digitalis is highly toxic.

Planting Tip

  • Ideal for Cottage Gardens
  • Attracts Pollinators
  • Sustainable Packaging
  • Flowering Period: June to July
  • Preferred Location: Plant in moist well-drained soil, in an area receiving part shade
  • Height and Spread 90cm (36") 30cm (12")
  • Hardiness : Hardy
  • Pot Size: 10.5cm

Our herbaceous plants are grown in optimum conditions to ensure that they flourish happily and healthily. Each plant will be sent directly from our specialist nursery based in England.

Please note, your potted plant may not display flowers as soon as it arrives. However, the 'flowering period' box (detailed above), indicates when you can expect flowers to form. Many of our herbaceous perennials also die back in winter, so will have little growth in spring, but grow quickly once sunlight hours improve.

Packaging

Here at Primrose, we treat sustainability as of utmost importance, and as such, each perennial or alpine will be delivered in eco-friendly packaging that will nor compromise on their protection.

The intuitive box design is entirely plastic free, and optimised to keep your plants safe in transit. The cardboard packaging is fully recyclable, resulting in a more environmentally-conscious product.

Please note: Herbaceous perennials can die back in winter, so don't be alarmed if this happens and instead look forward to spring!
