About Areca palm

Fabulous green fronds fill any space the Areca palm calls home, second only to the massive Monstera in its popularity and standout nature.

It's an air-purifying wonder, with added humidity boosting abilities for those who find their living or working spaces just a little too dry. The Areca looks great and makes those who see it feel good too, thanks to the amazing power of nature and greenery.

It hails originally from the tropics of Madagascar (though ours come from the UK), so you can be sure of an added tropical vibe when you add an Areca to your home.

Liven up your living room, dress up your dining room, or just create a tropical paradise wherever you please with this top-tier palm!

About Kookaburra

Kookaburra sail shades were born from a desire to bring a modern look and feel to UK gardens. Every garden with a kookaburra sail shade stands out, while those underneath it get to enjoy sun (and rain) protection without sacrificing style.

They’re hard-wearing and come with a 2-year warranty so you can rest easy in the shade, installable in less than an afternoon. Our sail shades come in both waterproof and breathable varieties, where cool air can pass and hot air can escape, creating the perfect place to sit on a hot day.

We love bringing quick and stylish shade to our customer’s gardens, and with multiple shapes available there’s always a sail that suits. Over 500 colourful and high-quality sail shades are available, and we love to see our customer’s photos of sails covering barbecues, patios, lawns and more!

A graceful, attractive palm with closely growing upright stems and long arching linear leaves, that makes a handsome focal point for any room. Still one of the most popular houseplants and it's easy to see why as it is so versatile and easy to look after. Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants, and if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from. Home care: Water regularly through the growing season with soft water or rain water but let the surface of the soil dry out slightly before rewatering. Reduce watering through the winter months. These plants need humidity so mist the leaves regularly, or stand on a tray of damp pebbles. Although they like a warm atmosphere don't place it near a radiator or heat source, and choose a brightly lit spot but not in direct sun.
