Compost bins can be tricky to load and unload, often with hole systems and sometimes even complete dismantling of the bin. This bin comes with removable slats, making it quick and efficient to use your compost bin. Remove only the slats you need to, when you need to with this versatile compost bin.

Our pressure treated timber really stands the test of time, as seen here in this great photograph from Mrs C showing her compost bin after 5 years of use.

"I am very happy with this but would have liked better info on assembly. I did read the linked assembly instructions, but they are not as detailed as they could be."

"Brilliant idea but the quality of the timber doesn't support the design; the slots cut in the front timbers for the slide in bars result in the material in front of the slots breaking off. Several were missing on arrival; more broke off as I tried to assemble it. The only way I managed to get the front timbers in was by knocking nails in to hold them. This either needs to be made of a hardwood - heavy and expensive - or needs metal brackets to hold the removable slats."
