A hardy coneflower sporting flamingo-pink flowers throughout summer
Echinacea 'Flamingo' is a strong performing perennial that presents beautiful, flamingo-pink flowers which will be present in your garden from June to September. The deep maroon centre also compliments the subtle, white tips of each petal, making for a lovely harmony of light and darker shades. Bred from tissue culture, this cultivar benefits from a strong branching habit and is also winter hardy. As such, it is a great plant for a less experienced gardener.

Many of our herbaceous perennials also die back in winter, so will have little growth in spring, but grow quickly once sunlight hours improve.

Watering: During your perennial or alpine's first growing season, you should provide them with frequent waterings. Try to also avoid wetting the foliage to reduce the risk of disease.
Deadheading: To promote a long flowering period, you should deadhead any flowers that appear spent. Simply rescind each flower at their base, taking care to not cut other parts of the plant.
