Elaeagnus Hedging

Elaeagnus hedging is an evergreen shrub with foliage that appears to shimmer due to its speckled green leaves with silver undersides. Extremely unique, this species produces scented flowers in autumn and small orange berries in spring - the opposite of most species. Relatively fast growing at 40-60cm per annum, elaeagnus is best clipped in autumn. 'Compacta' is a cultivar even more dense than normal and works fantastically for noise reduction or as a screen.
