Position utensil handles turned inward towards the center of the stove. If your stove has trivets, center the item on them and align the handle with the trivet. When using on smooth cooktops, lift the frying pan to move it to avoid scratching your cooktop. Hot utensils must be kept out of children's reach. This product may not be modified. Before using for the first time, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or detergent. Dry your cookware items thoroughly with a soft cloth and store them in a dry and well-ventilated place, away from steam or damp. Observe the item when it is being heated and never let the contents dry out as this can cause permanent damage to the enamel. Use only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils to stir food. With use, handles may become loose due to the normal dilation of materials. Tighten only enough without forcing them. Enameled iron is extremely resistant but it can be damaged if it suffers any impact against hard surfaces. Avoid dropping or hitting the frying pan against hard surfaces, which can cause the enamel to come off. If this occurs, rust can appear in the affected area without compromising the performance of the cookware items. Apply some cooking oil with a piece of kitchen towel in the affected area for protection or to remove white stains. Avoid thermal shock by not soaking a hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products to wash it. If burnt food sticks to the pan, soak the area in water and clean with a sponge and mild detergent. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of cooking oil around the rim of the body and lid of your cookware. To discard products and packaging, follow existing recycling guidelines. This product does not require maintenance, only cleaning.
