How to Plant your Bulbs: Before planting, cultivate soils to a depth of 15cm (if possible). It is best to plant in well-drained soil, however, if you have heavier soil, add some grit or well-rotted humus matter. For sandy soils, supplement with organic matter to boost fertility. Try to protect early growth in the spring from slugs and snails, and deadhead regularly.
